Turkey is known for its tourism and for its beaches. You maybe never thought a hot vacation spot would be Turkey but millions of people go there each year to get some fun in the sun. There are many beaches to choose from, so we narrowed down some of the top beaches located in the country of Turkey. The first beach is called Side Beach, it is located in Antalya which is in the southern part of Turkey, and it stretches out about 2 kilometers of virgin white sand beaches. Turkey is located in Mediterranean climate so the summers are hot and dry and perfect for beach weather.
Side Beach is so gorgeous to look at and it also has Roman and Greek ruins to enhance your landscape. The beach also has many wonderful places to eat. They have something for everyone, for those who may be a little picky about their food. There are also many hotels, inexpensive motels and inns. There is a place to stay from everyone who has beer pockets to champagne taste.
This next beach is called the Alanya beach. There is so much to do in this town that going to the beach is great, when you want to go sight seeing you don’t have to stray far from the beach. The Mediterranean landscape that surrounds the city is breath taking. The beaches are very clean and there is nothing from stopping you from enjoying the day.
Marmaris is located in the Mugla province in southwest Turkey. The beaches are among the favorite with vacationers who come to Turkey. There is always a great atmosphere at the beach. The people who are there are there for the same reasons you are, to get a great tan and to have a good time. There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat around the beach, which is very beautiful at night to go and look at the stars.
Patara Beach is located 75 kilometers south of Fethiye and it is considered maybe the best beach in all of Turkey. Patara Beach is a very secluded beach which is great for the people who come to Turkey to sit and relax and just want to get away from it all. The way the beach sits, it stays a nice secluded beach and then a bit further down it turns into archaeological ruins and then you get into the city part and it is urban. But the part of the beach is definitely secluded, it runs about 20 kilometers and it is said to be the birth place of Santa Claus.
There are millions of people visiting Turkey beaches every year and this is one of the best beaches in the country. There are hotels and restaurants nearby that you can spend you day at the beach and then eat and then relax back at the hotel room. Sounds like a great vacation.
